WellBiz Brands signs 15 new development agreements while building momentum in 2026.

WellBiz Brands reported strong growth in Q2 2026, signing 15 new franchise agreements and opening six new locations. Notably, the brand reached a total of 737 locations and introduced several new studio designs aimed at enhancing franchisee performance and consumer experience.
The robust development activity may increase competition for available territories in the beauty and wellness sector, suggesting a potential tightening for prospective franchisees. Additionally, the focus on cost reduction for new units could improve unit economics for franchisees entering the system.
WellBiz Brands, Inc., a franchisor for several beauty and wellness brands, has reported significant growth and development activity in the second quarter of 2026. The company announced the opening of six new locations, including new Drybar and Radiant Waxing studios in Buffalo, New York, operated by first-time franchisees Sarah and Sal Muneer. These new sites mark their first presence in the Buffalo market, contributing to WellBiz’s expanding portfolio, which now totals 737 locations across various markets.
In addition to the new openings, WellBiz signed 15 new franchise agreements during the quarter. This includes a multi-unit commitment for Drybar in Northern New Jersey and a three-unit agreement for Elements Massage in California’s Bay Area. The agreements signal ongoing demand and expansion potential, with new franchisees and existing operators showing confidence in the brand in states such as New Jersey, Ohio, Arizona, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
Amanda Clark, CEO of WellBiz Brands, remarked, “Across our portfolio, we’re seeing continued confidence from both new entrepreneurs entering our system and existing franchisees choosing to grow with us.” This demonstrates a healthy system as both first-time franchisees and experienced operators are committing to further development.
The company has also focused on minimizing development costs and enhancing studio designs, which may present more attractive investment opportunities for potential franchisees. These initiatives are in response to the growing consumer demand for tailored beauty and wellness services, indicating that WellBiz Brands is strategically positioning itself for sustainable growth in the franchise sector.
As the brand continues to balance disciplined expansion with operational innovation and enhanced franchisee support, it will be interesting to observe if they can maintain this growth pace through the remainder of 2026 as it adapts to the evolving market landscape.
