Church’s Texas Chicken has appointed Kevin Nemeth as its new chief commercial officer. Nemeth, who previously served as the chief digital and marketing officer for Authentic Restaurant Brands, will lead the Atlanta-based chicken quick-service restaurant's commercial strategy. His responsibilities include brand management, marketing, digital initiatives, customer relationship management, guest engagement, menu strategy, pricing, product innovation, and overall revenue growth.
Nemeth brings over 15 years of diverse experience from various sectors, including restaurants, retail, and financial services. His notable prior role at Popeyes saw him significantly boost digital sales from approximately 4% to nearly 20% of total sales and play an essential part in the launch of Popeyes Rewards, which achieved over 5 million users in its first six months.
In a press release, CEO Roland Gonzalez highlighted the significance of Nemeth's appointment, noting that the brand is "entering an important phase of growth." He emphasized the need to connect with guests in more relevant and measurable ways, with traffic and guest engagement being critical for success. Domestic sales saw a 1.7% increase, totaling $861.2 million, and unit growth of 1.2% brought the total to 770 locations by the end of 2025. Owned by High Bluff Capital Partners and FS Investments since 2021, Church's will celebrate its 74th anniversary in 2026.
