Celebree School named largest authorized provider in Maryland’s Pre-K Expansion Grant Program.

Celebree School has been selected as the largest authorized provider of Maryland's Pre-K Expansion Grant Program, expanding access to nine locations. This initiative aims to offer free, high-quality pre-K education to qualifying families, showcasing an effort to reduce financial barriers for early childhood education.
This expansion may present territory implications for other education franchises in Maryland, potentially increasing competition for access to qualified families.
Celebree School has been recognized as the largest authorized provider of Maryland's Pre-K Expansion Grant Program, with nine locations in the state set to enhance access to affordable, high-quality Pre-K education. The initiative, approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), allows qualifying families to access free pre-K education, significantly reducing financial barriers to early childhood learning.
The nine participating locations include Celebree School of Perry Hall, Bowie, Tech Court, Forest Hill, Bel Air, Severna Park, Mt. Airy, Ellicott City, and Frederick. This expansion reflects Celebree School’s long-standing commitment to early childhood education, supporting children and families through quality educational experiences. The company operates under a philosophy that emphasizes holistic development—academically, socially, emotionally, and developmentally—through structured, play-based learning facilitated by highly qualified teachers.
Richard Huffman, Founder and CEO of Celebree School, stated, “At the end of the day, our mission and vision at Celebree School is to provide high-quality childcare to every child.” This initiative not only aligns with Celebree School’s goals but also enhances community support through a donation campaign. For every new student registered by August 31, the school will contribute $50 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maryland.
The expansion may indicate a healthy growth trajectory for Celebree School, given its ability to secure significant partnerships and funding through state programs while attracting new families to its educational services. Participation in the Pre-K Expansion Grant also allows families to access additional financial support, furthering Celebree School's aim of affordability in childcare.
Moving forward, the focus will be on how effectively Celebree School can maintain this expansion pace and foster community relationships while fulfilling the demands of the new program. The sustainability of this growth may depend on the continued engagement with families and the support of local educational frameworks.
